We went to the final round of Czech Global Management Challenge with a simple task - win it. And we did it. And now we offer you to see how he have done it. We are going to show you the GMC reports from the final round.

What did we do better than in the 2nd round? We improved all our software we use in Global Management Challenge so we could make several decisions in a very short time. The enhanced software included not only processing the financial results of our decisions but also demand prediction and forecasting of other things. We also did some research on R&D expenditures (you can see it here) so we knew exactly what we should invest, what improvements would come and how they would influence the demand. Last but not least was that we improved a lot of details in our model and we finely tuned all imputs. The result was stunning - we struck our competitors completely and won with 1.619 share price while the market average (excluding our team) was 1.437.

Please read: The Global Management Challenge organizers changed the simulator a bit in 2013/2014 edition. There are some 5 new decisions (about premium materials, subcontracting, shares issue/repurchase, factory extension and staff training), the rest is the same. In total you have to decide about 75 values while it was 66 before. The new things are rather minor, but the organizers also changed the format of the reports to a different structure. All my tools and reports work 100% perfect with the old simulation, but I unfortunatelly didn´t have time to update it for the new one. So I decided to introduce a 20% discount for everything.
