R&D Scenarios Data Mining – Including 2012/2013 Scenarios

If you want to be great in Global Management Challenge you have to know how to improve in details. One of them can be your R&D strategy. Do you know that the best teams can generate up to 2x more improvements during the round with less expenditures? So what is the secret?

The secret is that they know how much they have to invest and what improvement is going to come with it. How do they find out this if the simulation is always different? In this file you get data from 35 different GMC scenarios from 2012/2013 and previous years that were made by 250 different companies. All their reports were manually collected by us and we spent countless hours on it (more than 200 hours actually). You will get numbers about R&D and management budget expenditures and what improvements they generated. This allows you to pick the best strategy to minimize your costs while maximizing the output when you play the same scenario. And you can also perform your own analysis with this data in a very effective way and learn more about GMC simulation and its patterns than from the official manual.

• In R&D Analysis we analyze 3 scenarios on 20 sets of reports and we provide conclusions. Thus you can see how the analysis is performed and how you can do it on your own. You also get an insight on how the R&D works in GMC.
• In R&D Scenarios Data Mining we provide you with 10x more sets of reports and 10x more scenarios. This will give you a lot of numbers to play with and benefit from them.

Please read: The Global Management Challenge organizers changed the simulator a bit in 2013/2014 edition. There are some 5 new decisions (about premium materials, subcontracting, shares issue/repurchase, factory extension and staff training), the rest is the same. In total you have to decide about 75 values while it was 66 before. The new things are rather minor, but the organizers also changed the format of the reports to a different structure.
