Reports – International Final Round 2010/2011
It was a wonderful experience to play in the international final round of Global Management Challenge in 2010/2011 edition. Only 8 teams in the world can do it every year and we were happy to be one of them. Now, maybe you play GMC for the first time or you have tried several times and did not make it to the international final, but this is your chance. This set of reports might very well be the game changer for you. Here you will see how the top teams play and the great thing is that you can learn from it and become one of them yourselves.

Please read: The Global Management Challenge organizers changed the simulator a bit in 2013/2014 edition. There are some 5 new decisions (about premium materials, subcontracting, shares issue/repurchase, factory extension and staff training), the rest is the same. In total you have to decide about 75 values while it was 66 before. The new things are rather minor, but the organizers also changed the format of the reports to a different structure. All my tools and reports work 100% perfect with the old simulation, but I unfortunatelly didn´t have time to update it for the new one. So I decided to introduce a 20% discount for everything. The manual, tools and reports are still very useful and will enhance your performance in GMC. Everything from the old simulation has the same impact in the new one. I´m just looking in the reports we bought … It seems very different from national rounds where some teams dont know what to do.. With this I think it will be very easy to find our way to national final, maybe more!!:) I hope we can meet in Ukraine this year to thank you for this!! Piotr

Hi Bogdan, yes, I believe these can help you a lot in getting there.
The difference between these and the national finals is mainly that there are 3 and 2 shifts used in international reports and 1 shift in national reports. Most of the GMC scenarios is played with just 1 shift so sometimes players don´t know how to deal with 2 and 3 shifts. The other difference is that the competitors are much better in the international finals than in the nationals and thus we had to deal with other market conditions. This means our strategy was more aggressive and we had to play as effecient as possible. On the other hand our strategies and performance from national final is simpler to understand for beginners or average players and it is still very good level of knowledge you can get from it.
So to sum up – both reports are useful. They are both somehow different and together can teach you more about Global Management Challenge than just one set. If I were you I would firstly but one of them and if you find it useful (and I believe you will), I would go for the other (or the manual probably).
